A Squirrel is part of a family that includes chipmunks, prairie dogs and flying squirrels.  There are Grey and Red Squirrels who have big bushy tails, big eyes and fur.  Baby Squirrels are called kits, having 2-3 per litter.  

I took this picture in a Park in Scarborough, UK.  These Squirrels are so friendly, you can almost touch them.  They sell nuts in a kiosk and allow you to feed them.  They come right up to you and take the nut from your hand to their tiny paws.
